Some Tuesday afternoon silliness for you. Every once in a while I check in with Penny Arcade because they make astute observations about the software industry, gaming and whatnot. And well, of course, it's just pretty funny sometimes.
Check out their impressions on game development jobs in Monday's comic. I couldn't help but giggle at the first panel. (Disclaimer: some expletives used.)
And speaking of game development, have you seen this (via slashdot, via WSJ)? I'm sure if you are avid slashdot reader you've already picked up on it, but pretty interesting nonetheless. A guy recreates "the bottom half of the 10th inning of Game Six of the 1986 World Series, using the original broadcast audio and a replay with Nintendo's RBI Baseball". Definitely a creative way to end up with a new job!
Cheers,
