Interesting news from the land of Microsoft today. Brian Valentine left to join Amazon. The funniest bit of this article is that, apparently, he doesn't have to use Monster to get his resume noticed. Um, duh!
There have been a lot of management shake-ups and big profile losses at the company in the past two years. The consistent comment seems to be that "these changes are for the better". Having been at the company and seen it go through a lot of changes and growth, I would gather his departure is just another sign of the company's evolution.
So, is Microsoft on the verge of a big restructuring other then continuous reorganizations or is this just more hyperbole?
