when I grow up . . .

Gretchen

This video from HR.com keeps floating around the recruiting blogosphere and landing in my inbox so it's time to share.

"When I grow up, I want to be a recruiter and offer jobs to kids half my age with half my experience but twice my salary. I want to be a hiring manager and tell my teams to hire A players on a B budget."

I imagine if you don't work in or with HR regularly, you'll still find this funny. :)

edit 11/16:  I removed the embedded video from this entry since it started playing every time I loaded our blog website.  It annoyed me so I figured it may annoy others. :)  See the video here.

I have occasionaly found myself working for managers half my age with a lot less than half my experience. I don't even want to think about what they make. Oh they are smart people and really good at their jobs (better than some I have worked for who have been older than me) but still ...

Getting old is rough some times.
