Position Summary
Dodge Construction Network (DCN) is looking for an experienced Business Analyst for strategic projects and initiatives to play an integral role on the team managing complex projects that cross all business areas. Project types will be varied, such as IT, pricing analysis, change management, operations, and more.
The Business Analyst will be an authentic business partner seeking to create value and operational excellence. This individual will apply the appropriate practices, processes, techniques, and tools to facilitate meetings, gather and define business requirements, identify pain points, areas for improvement, and best practices. The Business Analyst will utilize their knowledge and experience to contribute to the organization’s transformation and continuous improvement efforts. This will include efforts to develop and maintain a formal pricing model based on current market trends and the value DCN brings to the market.
This position reports directly to the Sr. Director of Strategic Programs.
Location
For this remote position, there is a preference to hire candidates near either our Hamilton, NJ or Bedford, MA offices. We are happy to consider candidates who are able to travel to either of these locations approximately once per month.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide expertise in business analysis, modeling, requirements gathering, facilitation and needs analysis
- Understand and interpret the diverse issues and requirements of the business and how they align with the overall strategy to grow the business
- Analyze and test business processes and recommend improvements
- Identify automation opportunities
- Critically evaluate information gathered from various sources, reconcile data conflicts, convert high-level information into details, convert technical information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the true underlying needs
- Elicit business requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, and other business analysis techniques
- Coordinate with Project Manager to support tracking of issues and risks, helping assign owners and driving resolution in a timely fashion. Surface essential improvement needs, progress, and issues to project stakeholders
- Work closely with Business Intelligence team to develop and maintain reporting tools / dashboards
- Collaborate with the larger team to develop and maintain next generation of pricing tools and processes
- Own price list management and coordinate price updates across large cross functional teams including Product Planning, Marketing, Sales and IT
- Support communication of price change plans to key stakeholders via announcements and presentations
- Model, measure, analyze, and forecast business impact for price moves and compare to actual results to integrate learning into pricing methodology
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in business analysis, business administration, finance, statistics or related field preferred
- 3+ years of business analyst experience following formal methodologies and processes
- 1+ years of pricing analyst experience
- Relevant certification(s): CBAP, Lean Six Sigma, ITIL or similar
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills
- Attention to detail, critical thinker, systems thinking, and process oriented
- Adaptable and capable of working in fast-paced environments
- Highly proficient user of MS Project, Project Online, MS Teams, MS Office suite, Visio, and other standard productivity tools
- Experience leading or participating in strategic or transformation efforts
- Knowledge of end-to-end systems

Compensation
Dodge Construction Network (DCN) provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in different geographic areas we are licensed to operate our business from. Actual compensation is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, level of professional, educational experience, skills, and specific candidate location. In addition, this role may be eligible for a market competitive bonus upon accepted offer.
Salary Range: $90,000 to $110,000
For this role, we are only considering candidates who are legally authorized to work in the United States and who do not now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status.
