Position Summary

The Business Process Outsourcing Associate reports to the Editorial Team Supervisor and is responsible for supporting DCN’s relationship with select 3rd party partners. The 3rd Party Partners collect information on public construction projects in the Planning phase. This position focuses on ensuring standard operating procedures are being followed, updating procedures when needed, being a key communicator in weekly team calls, spot check data entry for completeness and accuracy, and helping the Editorial Team Supervisor enforce performance goals and accountability. Ability to grow from within.

This position reports directly to the IMS Supervisor-Editorial Team.

Location

For this position, there is a preference to hire in Eastern Time Zone.

Core Responsibilities

  • This role will be primarily focused on offshore operations for partners handling data entry and outbound calling for construction projects in the planning phase but would provide support to other vendors as needed
  • Identify challenges and create solutions to advance data quality and improve the efficiency of the vendor’s contribution 
  • Supports the Supervisor during team meetings preparing reports
  • Learn to handles partner questions and challenges by providing insight on best practices and solutions
  • Review data entry efforts and outbound calls for clarity and accuracy when needed
  • Ability to work well under pressure and collaborate effectively with others in order to meet deadlines
  • Ability and desire to work in a collaborative environment with people from other cultures
  • Ability and desire to work independently and be accountable for the same
  • Effective problem solving and troubleshooting abilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Independent, disciplined work success is essential for this remote role
  • Previous experience in a data-gathering role with a preference for the construction industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel to BPO periodically for team building, liaison, and training with staff

Skills and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Construction industry experience a plus
  • Outbound call experience preferred
  • Computer proficiency: Email, Microsoft word, Excel required
  • Excellent organization/time management, problem solving and research skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Positive, professional demeanor
  • Proven track record of working effectively in an independent, remote environment is required
  • Ability and desire to work in a collaborative environment with people from other cultures

Compensation

Dodge Construction Network (DCN) provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in different geographic areas we are licensed to operate our business from. Actual compensation is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, level of professional, educational experience, skills, and specific candidate location. In addition, this role may be eligible for a market competitive bonus upon accepted offer.

Salary Range: $40,000 to $50,000

For this role, we are only considering candidates who are legally authorized to work in the United States and who do not now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status.
