Contract – Part time SEO Manager

My client is an agency looking for a SEO Manager with extensive Shopify experience to work on two clients as well as the agencies SEO. This role is initially 1 day per week with a high chance of increasing to 2 days or more per week over an initial 3 month period. This role is fully remote and is paying £260 per day outside IR35.

The Job:

  • Ownership of 2 client SEO strategies in alignment with overall digital efforts.
  • On-site and technical SEO analysis and implementation
  • Off-site SEO, including planning, sourcing, and analysis of link building initiatives and penalty recovery
  • Collaboration with the content manager on content creation
  • Keyword research to identify the best opportunities and key improvements
  • Assisting with exciting new project proposals and audits
  • Reporting on monthly basis for clients, setting and recording performance of KPIs
  • Integrating SEO with a paid search strategy, including Google Ads and paid social campaigns
  • Collaborating with the wider digital team, as well as the web development team, on projects for clients including new website launches and site migrations
  • Role will have an element of client comms
  • Analysing and improving the media agencies own SEO performance, ensuring they are ranking on page 1 for key search terms

You:

  • All SEO on Shopify – they need someone with extensive Shopify experience including:
    • Having undertaken several Shopify migrations
    • Experience using Shopify plus
    • Experience on working on Shopify SEO clients with turnover of £3m plus
  • Agency SEO experience
  • Strong presentation skills and stakeholder management experience
