This role will be focused on the management and delivery of digital development and marketing projects for internal initiatives, the company website, the client/broker digital products, and systems for Paradigm Life.

The ideal candidate should be able to confidently collaborate with internal business stakeholders at all levels, independently manage a cross-functional project team including product teams, data analysts, architects, developers, QA specialists, and digital marketing specialists, and deliver assigned projects on time, on budget, and in good quality.

This person is an excellent communicator and organizer with workflow and leadership expertise. He / She is able to rally the team, align vision and understanding, and support the senior leadership team. They ensure that each project is shipped according to budget, timeline, and scope, and that it meets company and stakeholder standards, and supports the company’s overall mission, strategy, and goals.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintain project artifacts during the entire project lifecycles such as project Gantt charts, budgets, roadmaps, timelines, resource plans, routine reports, milestone sign-off documents, and post-delivery review
  • Help clearly define project scope, goals, and deliverables, ensuring all stakeholders and project owners are on the same page
  • Conduct requirements analysis, resourcing, sequencing and documentation independently to roll out project stages effectively
  • Support creation and refinement of SOPs across business departments
  • Anticipate additional necessary resources and craft plans for fulfillment
  • Develop, refine, and own project workflows, serving as the expert of project management software and planning tools
  • Establish and maintain good and effective working relationships with vendors and other key stakeholders to ensure the quality of Paradigm’s digital properties
  • Identify and manage project issues and risks in a professional and efficient matter and provide clear and timely status reports to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Be responsible for delivering quality control, timeline/budget tracking, resource utilization, and overall profitability
  • Evaluate and assess results of project workflow, budget adherence, quality, and effectiveness, and implement positive, impactful changes in future projects
  • Adopt and maintain a deep understanding of the company’s overall marketing strategy, and serve as a high-value contributor to campaign planning and rollouts across a variety of channels
  • Own the quality assurance of each deliverable to monitor and report on project progress
  • Lead project team meetings, owning the agenda and desired outcomes

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a full-time Project Manager in a digital agency or similar organization
  • A portfolio demonstrating past experience in the management of digital and marketing projects,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and Agile Methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, and XP
  • Experience planning and executing sprints with collaborators across various departments
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven stakeholder management experience
  • Familiar with mainstream project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, ClickUp, Smartsheet, etc.
  • Self-motivated and resourceful with excellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple projects under various budget/timeline/resource pressure
  • Ability to think analytically and creatively with good problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent decision-making and proven leadership skills
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and resolve conflict quickly and effectively
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timelines
  • Knowledge and familiarity of product-led organizations

Bonus points

  • Experience with writing Epics, User Stories, Testing plans, Functional or technical specs, and Acceptance Criteria
  • Certifications in Project Management (PMP or / and Prince2) and Agile/Scrum Methodology (CSM, CSPO, etc.).
  • Experience planning, writing, and editing content in line with overall brand strategy
  • Prior experience or prior education in computer science and/or software engineering experience
  • Product ownership experience
