About the Role:  

The Global People Operations & Rewards Team is responsible for creating a global, human-centered, and progressive Rewards & People Ops function. You will own the design and operationalization of key processes, programs, and tools that enable the People Operations team to work efficiently and scale effectively to support our rapidly growing organization.  In this role, you will report to our Chief People Officer and lead a broad scope of activities  including compensation strategy and execution (base, bonus, variable comp and equity), benefits, policy management, compliance, HR Operations process design and execution, people analytics and HRIS. You will be part of the People Leadership Team (PLT) partnering with our Head of People  Business Partners, Head of Talent Acquisition, Head of Workplace and People Programs & Initiatives lead.

Impact You’ll Own:

  • Design the People Operations & Reward team strategy with direct responsibility to operationalize globally.
  • Recognize prominent market shifts and design ways to stay competitive on all Reward elements, staying attuned to global developments and trends by conducting annual benchmarking comparisons using internal and external data and expertise. 
  • Coach managers and employees on benefits, reward, compliance, policies, etc.
  • Lead and inspire the team as they ensure consistent world-class employee experience.
  • Play leading role in managing the People Operations project roadmap and routinely presenting out on progress. 
  • Provide oversight on execution against global Benefits programs.
  • Oversee development and ongoing management and improvement of global, scalable people processes  with tools that balance our employees’ experiences with compliance and legal requirements – including documentation, related checklists, and ensuring SOX audits are timely and accurate.
  • Review current workflows and processes, identifying gaps, inefficiencies or other improvement needs, and develop and execute on improvements.  
  • Create and lead various training, change management and enablement initiatives geared toward helping stakeholders understand key People processes. 

What You Bring:

  • 10+ years of leading a global People Operations & Rewards  function, preferably in high-growth tech companies
  • Experience building strong partnerships with foundational teams (People Business Partners, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Legal, Corp Eng) to work on all people-related processes.
  • Customer service orientation and mindset
  • Experience with project management driving prioritization based on business needs
  • Experience using data to drive stakeholder engagement and decisions 
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and deliverables
  • G Suite expertise

What Makes You Stand Out:

  • Experience with Bamboo, Workday, Paylocity, and Greenhouse 
  • Advanced skill level with Excel/Sheets and Powerpoint/Slides
  • Experience designing and executing on change management

Compensation (only applicable for Colorado applicants):

The base pay range targeted for this position in Colorado is: $138,600 – $211,500. This role is eligible for equity.

The actual offer, including the compensation package, is determined based on multiple factors, including experience, location, and other business considerations.

Planet is registered as an employer in many, but not all, states. If you are not able to work from a state where Planet is registered, you will not be eligible for employment.
