About the Role:
Voldex is hiring a player-centric Manager, Support & Community to nurture our playerbase across all of our games. As the leader of our Support & Community function, this is a unique opportunity to build Voldex’s community management and player support strategy from the ground up. To be successful, this person will use their expansive knowledge of community management, player support, social media, and content moderation to earn and protect player trust and demystify the development process for our fans.

What You’ll do:
Hire and manage Community Managers for Voldex’s live games
Hire and manage Player Support Representatives for Voldex’s live games
Define our Community Management and Player Support process and strategy
Personally be a community manager for one of Voldex’s top games
Monitor community sentiment surrounding in-game features, content, and issues/bugs
Partner with the Product team to make sure the game Product Managers use community input in their decisions
What You Bring to the Team:
Ability to translate player feedback into actionable game development insights
History of running a successful community management/player support function at a gaming company
Hands-on community management experience for a live service game
Thorough understanding of the myriad ways game communities come together (Discord, streaming sites, social media, fan pages, Cons, etc)
Proficiency with project management tools/software (we use Trello, but others are welcome)
Excellent written communication and presentation skills
People management experience (you will be the manager of our Community Managers and Player Support Representatives!)
