Praecipio is looking for an in house Recruiter with full-cycle recruiting experience, from talent sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing and hiring great employees. This position is 100% remote, will report to Praecipio’s VP of Recruiting and will require a strong time management skills and an exceptional work ethic.

A successful recruiter will collaborate with department managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs. You should also be able to attract passive candidates using various sources, including LinkedIn, Indeed and employee referrals. Our ideal recruiter holds has at least 3 years of work experience in screening, interviewing and assessing candidates. Ultimately, the responsibilities of the Recruiter are to ensure our company attracts, hires and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline.

We would like to hire someone by April 1. Additionally, this is a unique opportunity where you will have 8 weeks to lead the recruiting efforts for Praecipio while the VP of Recruiting is on leave during June and July.   • Source and recruit passive candidates by using databases, job boards and proactively engaging with employees to identify referrals
  • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
  • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards through automated function within ATS
  • Screen candidates resumes and job applications
  • Conduct interviews via Zoom
  • Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
  • Partner with HR to onboard new employees in order to become fully integrated (HR is responsible for a majority of the onboarding process)
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Obtain knowledge of partner ecosystem and industry talent
  • Promote company’s reputation as “great place to work”
  • Responsible for negotiating offers and working with Executive leadership and HR as needed
  • Responsible for primarily hiring technical talent but must be willing to take on other corporate and sales roles as needed


  • Proven success as a Recruiter (either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter)
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes including video interviewing
  • Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) – Praecipio uses Workable for our ATS and HiBob for our HRIS
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong decision-making and negotiation skills
  • Self-starter and ability to function independently
