About You

First and foremost, you are a problem solver at heart, adept at leveraging technology to provide solutions. On any given day you might facilitate backlog refinement sessions, write user stories, configure Casetivity to meet business needs, or develop SQL queries or Groovy scripts. You are excited to participate at every phase of the software development cycle and are willing to take on more than just a singular role.

You are a systems-thinker and enjoy being creative to leverage the tools available to meet customer needs. All projects experience changes and unique challenges, and you are adept at adjusting to changing circumstances and working to achieve positive results. You take the initiative to drive issues to resolution, and you are the first to volunteer to help solve complex issues.

Your role as a Senior Low Code Engineer/Senior Programmer Analyst

We’re looking for someone who gets excited about helping others, working with a team to formulate IT solutions based on business requirements, and is interested in taking the next step in their career to lead configuration efforts for assigned workstreams on projects.

The primary responsibilities of the job include:

• Translate business requirements into well-defined features, user stories, acceptance test criteria, and design documentation
• Lead the design and configuration efforts of assigned areas of Low Code solutions to meet business requirements
• Assist with the management of the product backlog and prioritization of user stories with team members
• Act as a liaison between business/business analysts and configuration/development team
• Keep up to date with new features and functionality of SSG’s Low Code platform
• Provide recommendations for Core Low Code platform improvements
• Subject matter expert in best practices for configuring Low Code solutions to meet business needs
• Mentor other project team members as needed
• Support Development and QA team members as needed

• Experience with Agile / Scrum as a Product Owner: writing user stories, and following the development process through user story acceptance
• Past experience configuring and maintaining any Low Code Development platform such as Salesforce, Pega, OutSystems, Appian, Power Apps, etc.
• Deep knowledge of market/subject area
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence
• Able to create Data Models, write SQL queries, read and edit XML and JSON files, and read and write scripts (like Groovy or Python)
• Experience mentoring and/or supervising other team members
