SEO Lead

Overview: Brand new opportunity with an established marketing agency in Manchester, who work with clients across tech, industrial and professional services on their inbound/automated marketing strategy. Due to increasing demand from their expanding B2B client base, the company are further growing their dedicated team and looking for a talented SEO professional to join. We are open to those at all levels, whether SEO Executive or Senior SEO Executive, with at least 1 years’ experience. All we ask, is that you are ROI-obsessed! The role: Make client SEO a key part of strategies to drive marketing qualified leads from client websites; Provide our inbound strategists with deep-dive SEO analysis, keyword research and recommendations for client website optimisation; Optimise existing content and supporting the content team in the creation of new SEO-friendly content across multiple platforms; Administer search engine programmes (XML sitemaps, webmaster tools); Identify, understand and limit technical hindrances to effective SEO; Research and Implement link building campaigns in coordination with client SEO goals; Monitor and administer web analytics, SEO tools (We primarily use AHRefs but SEMRush and others could be used) dashboards, reports and key reporting tools, to identify key optimisation strategies; Communication with the rest of the team and clients on project development, timelines, and results; Keep pace with SEO trends and developments becoming Axon Garside’s ‘go-to’ SEO expert. Requirements: You will ideally have experience in B2B sectors, working agency-side (though we are open to client-side also!, working with a range of B2B businesses. You’ll certainly be motivated by results, driven by data and able to work SEO, analytics and social tools to meet demanding revenue goals. At least one year of relevant SEO experience with a proven track record of delivery An obsession with using data and analysis to drive results A great working knowledge of Google Analytics and at least one major SEO tool Ability to analyse a client’s strengths and weaknesses from an SEO perspective and to make clear data-based recommendations An instinct and ability to spot link opportunities in any industry Excellent communication skills and the confidence to share ideas and contributions with team members and clients Problem-solving approach A proactive self-motivated attitude, able to manage your own time and priorities whilst keeping multiple plates spinning Good to have: Knowledge of HTML/CSS and website administrations Experience of HubSpot and Inbound Marketing Google qualifications Proven experience in building links and gaining coverage on quality, niche B2B websites across multiple industries Salary: up to 32,000 negotiable on experience Location: Manchester / Remote. The team are in the office 2 days a week if nearby in Manchester, but we are welcoming applicants from further afield who would consider working from home / fully remote.
