APX, an Xpansiv Company, is seeking a results-oriented product manager to lead and design software for applications that support environment registries, carbon registries, and ESG reporting markets.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute initiatives for the flagship product, Optimal Outcomes, which includes responsibilities such as scope facilitation, product specifications, and overall delivery to market

• Conceptualize and mature new software ideas into clear, actionable feature requests; this may require distilling a feature request into its underlying functionality in order to recommend the most fitting business and technical approach.

• Document product specifications with the highest degree of caliber, cataloging both functional and non-functional requirements.

• Lead the engineering effort to market, from project inception and client-facing workshops through to status reports, UAT, and go-live efforts

• Evaluate the product portfolio from a software delivery perspective, with an emphasis on how to best sequence the pipeline

• Establish the success metrics of an initiative at the project onset, relying on previous, proven work experiences and current-day research to garner consensus and alignment from cross-functional teams

• Maintain a general understanding or working knowledge of the IT systems and their connections

• Champion agile methodology and other standards or tools to gain efficiencies in product specification, UI/UX design, and project management.

Qualifications

• Computer Science Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT, Systems Administration, or related disciplines.

• 5+ years as a product manager, preferably in a SaaS offering and/or the environmental, carbon, or ESG market spaces.

• Proven track record of portfolio delivery, 2MM++

• Experience in an IT role is a plus.

• Experience using Azure or Jira for Agile projects.

• Being certified in Agile is a plus.

• Working knowledge of markup languages, HTML, CSS, SQL, and NoSQL is a plus.
