<job/syntax>
no account. no dashboard. a posting is a piece of text in the jobsyntax format; it lives on the board and in /jobs.txt for 30 days, then expires on its own.
the automated rail is being built, so launch posting is manual and free:
1. write the posting — use the live validator on the board page, start from the template below, or paste the posting you already have and it will be normalized for you.
2. email it to tom AT canadacomp DOT ca with subject posting.
3. a human reviews it, with ai assistance, for format and legitimacy. real jobs from real companies go live, typically within a day. spam does not.
role: company: location: type: level: comp: skills: apply: describe the actual work in 40 to 1500 characters. what does this person own? what is the hard part? skip the mission-statement prose — the body is what the matching engine reads.
self-serve posting: about 100 sats over lightning, or a browser proof-of-work if you would rather spend cycles than sats. every submission still passes the gate before it goes live. no accounts, ever.
